Specialty

Specialty Demolition for Structures That Don't Fit a Standard Scope

Some structures need their own plan: elevated water tanks, towers and silos, heavy reinforced concrete, foundations under live utilities, and buildings with asbestos, lead, or other environmental conditions in the way. ELEV8 scopes these with the engineering, equipment, and sequencing they actually require — and sells the environmental phase turn-key, so demolition never waits on a surprise.

Tanks, towers, and silos

Elevated structures need their own sequence.

ELEV8 took down two elevated water tanks and their towers on the Jacksonville University campus in sequence — the first came down, the university brought its replacement online, then the second — because one tank had to stay in service the whole time. Engineered sequencing for a structure that carries risk a standard building scope doesn't.

Heavy and reinforced concrete

Removal, processing, and haul-off — planned together.

Environmental conditions — turn-key

One contract, from survey through abatement to demolition.

ELEV8 sells demolition turn-key: we direct the asbestos survey, manage abatement, and sequence demolition — one contract, one schedule, one point of accountability. Owners and GCs who source their own survey routinely pay for abatement that was never required; directing the survey ourselves is how we keep that cost off your job. Abatement is performed by licensed crews under ELEV8's management, and demolition starts the moment clearance is issued.

Material flow

Different materials, different destinations.

Demolition creates different material streams. Concrete may be routed to ELEV8 Recycling, metals may be routed to appropriate metal recyclers, and mixed C&D may be routed to appropriate disposal facilities or landfills depending on the material, contamination, project conditions, facility rules, access, logistics, schedule, and project requirements.

Projects that prove it

Field record, not a promise.

Frequently asked

What owners ask about tanks, concrete, and environmental scopes.

Does ELEV8 offer turn-key demolition that includes the asbestos survey and abatement?

Yes. ELEV8's standard commercial package is turn-key: we direct the asbestos survey, manage abatement through licensed crews under our contract, and sequence demolition to follow — one contractor, one schedule, one point of accountability. If your contract requires abatement by others, we price a base demolition scope and still offer to direct the survey so abatement stays limited to what actually has to come out.

Does ELEV8 offer material recovery or recycling?

Demolition creates different material streams. Concrete may be routed to recycling where conditions allow, and metals and mixed C&D are routed to the appropriate recyclers or disposal facilities depending on project conditions.

Is ELEV8 affiliated with a concrete-recycling operation?

ELEV8 Recycling is a separate entity under common ownership, operating its own concrete-recycling yard in Jacksonville. Concrete from ELEV8 Demolition projects may be routed there where conditions allow.

Does ELEV8 take on historic or technically complex structures?

Yes. ELEV8 has demolished technically complex and historic structures including the Ford Model T assembly plant, the Morocco Shrine Center, and the two elevated water tanks on the Jacksonville University campus, taken down in sequence so one stayed in service.
